What does Tuusula taste like? Come and be inspired by our cakes. Decorate cupcakes for Mother’s Day, buy some treats to take away, or be inspired by the wonderful cakes in our competition.
The free Cake Festival for the whole family will be held for the second time on the eve of Mother’s Day, Saturday 9 May 2026, from 10am to 3pm in the courtyard and on the ground floor of Monio. At the event, you can buy mouth-watering treats, take part in a cake competition and bake a Mother’s Day cupcake for your own mum.

Sign up for the cake competition and bring your delicious or impressive layer cake from Tuusula for the judges and the public to admire. People from outside Tuusula are also welcome to take part. Register by emailing jenni.karkkainen@tuusula.fi or by calling 040 314 3562.
Viewing and judging of the cakes in the cake competition, and announcement of the winners, 10.30 am–12 noon.
The competition’s partners include Confetti Oy, Kivaa Juhliisi, Konditoria pH7 and Hellapoliisi.
Treats and remembering mums
Come and enjoy a relaxed family day filled with treats. On the eve of Mother’s Day, you can decorate your own cupcake for Mum. There are cupcakes for the first 250 people!
We have a wide range of baked goods and treats on sale, perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth.
