The popular Ruukki Triathlon is taking place once again
The popular triathlon event will take place in Kellokoski on Sunday 31 May, when Järvenpään Pyöräilijät bring the Ruukki Triathlon to the village’s beautiful surroundings for the third time.
The Kellokoski Ironworks area will be filled with music, workshops and a summer atmosphere on Tuusula Day in July
Tuusula Day will be celebrated at Kellokoski Ironworks as part of Tuusula Week on Wednesday 22 July from 2 pm. The event will bring music, theatre and workshops for the whole family to the area.
Tuusula Council is organising home concerts for older people
In May, Tuusula Municipality is offering ten free home concerts for older people who find it difficult to attend cultural events held outside their homes. This is the third time the home concert tour has been organised, and the programme features accordion music.
Celebration of National Veterans' Day in Tuusula on 27 April 2026
Monday 27 April 2026 marks National Veterans’ Day, and to mark the occasion, celebrations will be held in Tuusula at the Monio Cultural Centre and in the Veterans’ Park. Admission is free, but advance registration is required.
The Tuusulanjärvi Marathon will take place again on 25 April 2026
The Tuusulanjärvi Marathon, which has been held since 1994, will take place once again on Saturday 26 April 2025 against the backdrop of Lake Tuusulanjärvi. Other running events are also on offer, and you can still register on the day.

Tuusula Museum and Culture attracted nearly 75,000 visitors in 2025.
The past year was a busy one for Tuusula's cultural services. Tuusula Museum's sites attracted nearly 62,000 visitors, and cultural events drew more than 12,000 participants.
100 years since the death of Eino Leino – Tuusula commemorates the poet with the Rantatien Runoruhtinas performance
The poems of Eino Leino (1878–1926) have touched almost every Finn in some way. The 100th anniversary of the master poet's death will be on 10 January 2026. Leino passed away on 10 January 1926 at his friends' house, Nuppulinna, in what is now the Tuusula area.
