In a lecture by researcher Marja Tanhuanpää at the Erkkola Artists' Home on Thursday 30 January at 6 p.m., we will hear about beer as liquid bread, protected Trappist beers and Martin Luther's fondness for beer and his favourite beer. In the words of Martin Luther, "It is better to sit in a beer hall and think about the church than to sit in a church and think about beer."
