Proposed renovation plan for Jokela School Pond Park on display
The proposed renovation plan for the Jokela Koululampi park area will be on display from 2 October to 15 October 2025 at the TuusInfo customer service centre during its opening hours. The proposal can also be viewed at the Jokela library and the municipal map service.
Public works on Hyryläntie and Koskenmäentie continue – temporary traffic arrangements expected to remain in place until the end of November
Municipal engineering work on Hyryläntie and Koskenmäentie roads, which is linked to the construction of the Särmä business and service centre, began at the end of August. The work is expected to affect traffic arrangements in the area for longer than originally estimated, until the end of November.

Temporary traffic arrangements in the Hyryläntie and Koskenmäentie area from 25 August 2025 onwards
The construction of the Särmä business and service centre is progressing in the centre of Hyrylä, and the associated municipal engineering work in the Hyryläntie and Koskenmäentie area will begin on Monday, 25 August 2025. The work is expected to affect traffic arrangements in the area for approximately one month.
Main line development work will bring track changes to Jokela station
The Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency has announced that excavation work will be carried out as part of the railway development project between Helsinki and Riihimäki, which will result in the platform and track adjacent to Jokela station being out of use on weekdays during daytime hours from 25 August onwards.
New operators for Tuusula bus routes 964, 965, 966, 967 and 968 on 12 August.
Helsinki Region Transport (HSL) reports that, due to the bankruptcy of the previous operator, new companies will take over transport services on routes 964 and 964K, 965, 965K and 965T, 966, 967 and 967K, and 968 from Tuesday 12 August.
Roadworks completed in the vicinity of Perttu School
Road and municipal engineering work on Opintie near the school will be completed by the start of the school year. Pupils attending Pertun school and others travelling in the area will have access to a new section of light traffic lane, among other things.

Ainolanväylä in Järvenpää will be closed to motor vehicle traffic from the railway bridge from Tuesday 8 July at 5 a.m. until Thursday 10 July at 4 p.m. The closure will also affect traffic between the Tuomala and Ketunkorpi areas of Tuusula and Järvenpää.
