Renovation of Agusta Park

The park’s renovation will include replacing the playground and exercise equipment, removing invasive species and replanting vegetation. A brush pile will also be built in the park from the stems and branches of the rowan trees that are being removed, much to the delight of insects. Rowan is an invasive species that spreads easily in the wild.

The park will be completed by the end of June 2025.

Please note the following:

  • The construction site will be closed to public traffic and access by unauthorised persons will be prohibited. Where necessary, alte ative and safe detour routes will be arranged to replace the closed routes.
  • Advance wa ing signs are used to wa of mobile and/or small short-term work sites. When passing these, pedestrians must exercise caution.
  • The construction site may affect existing lighting, and street lights may be darkened over a wider area than just the construction site.
  • Noise, dust and vibration nuisance is possible during the construction work.
  • There will be open trenches in the work area during the work. However, no unprotected trenches will be left on the work site at the end of the working day.
  • When water pipe connections are being made, the water supply may be temporarily interrupted. Information about interruptions will be provided in advance.

The Särmä Business and Service Centre is complete – services will open during the autumn

The Tuusula Town Hall is located in Särmä, which has been built in Hyrylä; the building will also house retail outlets and other services.
