The number of building permits granted rose in Tuusula

Last year, Tuusula municipal building control granted building permits and received notifications of measures for approximately 11 per cent more projects than in the previous year. Permits were granted for a total of 175 dwellings, which is more than three times the number granted in the previous year. The number of completed dwellings was significantly lower than in the previous year. However, the municipality estimates that a new upturn in residential construction is already on the horizon.

Renovation of the swimming pool will begin in April

Swimming hall

The renovation of the Tuusula swimming pool will begin in April 2025. The renovation will continue until March 2026. With the renovation of the swimming pool, the municipality of Tuusula aims to repair all structural damage and prevent new damage from occurring. We will not be expanding the swimming pool for the time being, but will instead renovate the existing facilities and improve their usability.
