Tuusula Arts Night will be held on Friday, 8 August, offering a diverse range of cultural experiences for all ages!

International Museum Day offers a great opportunity to visit museums and their exhibitions free of charge. In Tuusula, many museums will offer free admission on Sunday 18 May, the day of the event, and various guided tours will also be available.

Renowned alternative folk artist Piia Viitanen will perform a solo concert in the courtyard of Aleksis Kivi's death cottage on Friday, 8 August at 5 p.m. This now traditional pre-concert event kicks off the magnificent Tuusula Arts Night.

Onerva Luoma from Helsinki has been selected as Tuusula's summer artist for 2025. Luoma's art is in the field of textile and conceptual art. Applications were received from 43 representatives of different art fields.

Spring cultural experiences in Tuusula are provided by the Minä elän! (I Live!) clubs, where music and literary arts intertwine in historical settings. The artist's home in Erkkola will feature Amanda Kaurante's folk music, while Halosenniemi will host chamber music by female composers, transporting listeners to the atmosphere of Paris.

Issue 1/2025 of the Tuusula municipal newsletter will be published on Wednesday, 2 April 2025, and will be distributed to households in Tuusula as a public bulletin.

Applications for free slots at Galleria Monio will be accepted from 1 to 15 April. Five three-week exhibition periods are available in 2025 and 2026. Applications are primarily open to artists from Tuusula or exhibitions whose works or creators are connected to Tuusula.

The Story Sharing Café will be held at the Monio Cultural Centre on Saturday, 8 March. The event brings together people from different backgrounds to share stories over coffee. The evening will feature music performed by Nemat Battah.
