Building Kymppi is the oldest of the buildings from the former Hyrylä military base. The upcoming renovation project will give the building many more years of use and new possibilities.

Tuusula Museum and Culture attracted over 82,000 visitors in 2024

The past year was a busy one for Tuusula's cultural services. Tuusula Museum attracted over 62,000 visitors, and cultural events drew more than 20,000 visitors. A significant proportion of the children and young people who encountered the museum and culture were reached through cultural education programmes. For the first time, a secondary-level cultural education plan was implemented for young people in Tuusula.

In line with its strategy, the municipality of Tuusula offers wonderful and innovative opportunities for culture, leisure and hobbies. These investments create well-being. The recently published report on the perceived effects of cultural activities shows that cultural activities have many positive effects on the lives of those who participate in them and even on society as a whole.
