Tuusula Museum and Culture attracted over 82,000 visitors in 2024
The past year was a busy one for Tuusula's cultural services. Tuusula Museum attracted over 62,000 visitors, and cultural events drew more than 20,000 visitors. A significant proportion of the children and young people who encountered the museum and culture were reached through cultural education programmes. For the first time, a secondary-level cultural education plan was implemented for young people in Tuusula.
Cultural café meets at Tuusula Automobile Museum – topic: summer event arrangements
The Culture Café will discuss Tuusula's summer cultural events and how to participate in them as an event organiser. The Culture Café will be held on Tuesday, 11 February 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Tuusula Automobile Museum.
Tuusula's cultural education plans got a new logo
The year 2025 brought a breath of fresh air to Tuusula's cultural education plans in the form of an updated Kultsut logo. The group working on the cultural education plans wanted the new logo to be timeless and playful.
Musician Iiro Rantala performed for young people in Tuusula – secondary school cultural education programme underway
Composer and top pianist Iiro Rantala performed at concerts organised for secondary school students on Monday, 9 December 2024, at the Monio Cultural Centre's Riihi Hall. The concert, themed around Finnish Music Day, is part of the secondary school cultural education plan.

Tuusula's Cultural Figure of the Year is musician Mika Saatsi
The Tuusula Municipal Culture and Leisure Committee presented the Culture-Friendly Person of the Year award on Tuusula Day in Jokela. The Culture-Friendly Person of the Year 2024 is Jokela-based musician Mika Saatsi.
Circus artist Manta Näkkäläjärvi is Tuusula's Artist of the Summer 2024
Maaret "Manta" Näkkäläjärvi, a circus artist and teacher from Jokela, has been selected as Tuusula's Artist of the Summer 2024. Twenty-nine representatives from various fields of art applied for the position. During the summer, Näkkäläjärvi will stage a new fire show and perform and hold workshops in various locations around Tuusula.

The past year was a busy one for Tuusula's cultural services. Tuusula Museum's sites attracted nearly 58,000 visitors. Events organised by Tuusula Culture attracted over 43,000 visitors.
Two development projects by the municipality of Tuusula awarded at the Important Work Gala on 4 December 2023
Monday, 4 December 2023, was a day of celebration when two Tuusula municipal development projects were honoured at the Important Work Gala in Helsinki. The awards were given to Tuusula's Agenda 2030 steps and cultural education plans.
