The February-March series of workshops for children and young people will continue with Digiraadi, where young people can go online to develop ideas for voting proposals. 

The All Burn All (KPK) event invites you to Kellokoski School on Friday, 6 March 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. We hope to see lots of happy players and families there to enjoy a fun Friday evening together!

Tuusula's new hobby tutor programme is an important channel for young people to share their hobby and leisure time wishes and to share information about opportunities with their peers. The hobby tutor training programme attracted enthusiastic participants from all over Tuusula. 

The school winter break in week 8 offers children and young people plenty to do in Tuusula. There are opportunities both outdoors and indoors. Choose the holiday activities that suit you best!

A meeting was held in Jokela to discuss leisure activities in the Jokela area as part of Tuusula's Child-Friendly Municipality initiative. The aim of the discussions, which were conducted using the Skididialogi model, was to gather the views and experiences of pupils and adults working with young people on the subject.

Tuusula's pre-primary and primary education will promote a more active lifestyle among children and young people with the amendment to the Basic Education Act, which will come into force next autumn. Preparations for the future have begun in collaboration with Kerava and Järvenpää.

The municipality of Tuusula is looking for new operators to organise enjoyable and free leisure and club activities for primary school pupils for the 2026–2027 school year. Register as an operator by 8 February 2026.

More than 1,500 ideas submitted to Tuusula's participatory budgeting competition for children and young people have now been evaluated. The next step is to develop the ideas that have been deemed promising, together with the children and young people themselves and the adults and organisations that work with them.

The first year of Tuusula Municipality's Child-Friendly Municipality action plan is now behind us. The voices of children and young people were heard in many different ways in autumn 2025, and steps towards spring 2026 have already been taken.
