Spring Carnival for the whole family on Saturday, 3 May 2025
Tuusula Sports Centre, also known as Urka, will once again celebrate spring together on Saturday, 3 May 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., when the municipality of Tuusula will organise its traditional Spring Carnival for the whole family.

Fairy-tale worlds beckon – spring events in Erkkola
Erkkola is hosting an exhibition entitled "Beyond Reality – Imaginary Worlds in Fairy Tale Illustrations" throughout the spring, featuring works by Rudolf Koivu, Martta Wendelin and Venny Soldan-Brofeldt, among others, which transport viewers far beyond the boundaries of everyday life. The museum is organising several fairy tale-themed events related to the exhibition.
Summer job vouchers and positions for young people in 2025 available in February – apply for a summer job at your local municipal office by 2 March
Tuusula Municipality's summer job vouchers to support young people working in companies, associations or foundations, and summer jobs for young people in municipal offices, will be available for application at the beginning of February. Applications for the Tuusula 4H Association's summer entrepreneur programme will also open.
Instead of one, two projects were selected as the most child-friendly in Tuusula – a jury of children and young people voted for a gaming company and a volunteer organisation to receive the award.
The results of the first Child-Friendly Act competition held in Tuusula were decided by children and young people. The winners of the 2024 Child-Friendly Act competition were two organisations: gaming company XROC Gaming Oy and Polina Krapitzeva, who does volunteer work with young people.

Last October and November, the municipality of Tuusula surveyed residents and businesses about their satisfaction and views on the municipality and its services. Safe, close to nature and developing, Tuusula has significant retention power, but also attracts new residents and businesses.
Enjoy children's culture during Skidiviikko in March
Skidiviikko offers a diverse range of children's culture events throughout Tuusula from 3 to 9 March. The Skidiviikko programme is free of charge, but advance registration is required.
The "Everyone Burns Everyone" event invites children and young people and their families to a joint game night in Riihikallio.
On 7 March 2025, from 6 p.m. to 9.30 p.m., Riihikallio School in South Tuusula will host a joint game night called 'Everyone Burns Everyone'. Primary school children and young people from all over Tuusula are invited to attend – come alone or with friends or family. Registration is now open.
