Tuusula is surveying the views of residents and businesses – respond and make a difference!
Tuusula will survey residents and businesses starting on 3 November. The responses will provide valuable information for the development of the municipality.
Skidiviikko, a week dedicated to children's culture, will be celebrated in Tuusula from 3 to 9 November 2025.
The free performances include theatre, dance, music, magic and even opera for children. The 23 performances during the week will reach a total of 1,700 children. Most of the week's performances are sold out, but there are still some seats available for a few performances.
Search for Tuusula's most child-friendly act of the year – submit your suggestions by 7 November!
We are looking for the most child-friendly act in Tuusula for the second time. We are looking for an individual who has taken the rights of children and young people to be heard into particular consideration. Being heard has two meanings – both belonging to a community and being listened to. Nominate an act and its creator by 7 November 2025!
Pioneering emotional skills in Tuusula
Emotional and interpersonal skills are among the most important skills for educators. Tuusula's expertise in emotional skills has been exported abroad. Recognising their own emotions gives children and young people the tools to deal with even difficult issues safely with the support of adults.
Pick up tips for the autumn half-term week at school
Schools in Tuusula will be closed for autumn break from 13 to 19 October. Both primary and secondary school pupils will be enjoying a well-deserved break, not to mention their younger siblings. Check out our tips for the holiday week!
The programme for Skidiviikko 3–9 November 2025 has been published.
Children's culture takes centre stage at Tuusula's Skidiviikko festival from 3 to 9 November 2025. There will be 21 performances during the week. This autumn's Skidiviikko will feature theatre, puppet theatre, dance, magic, children's music and even opera for children. The family-oriented children's opera Cinderella will be performed on Thursday 6 November at 6 p.m. at the Monio Cultural Centre.

National Road Safety Week is celebrated annually during week 37, this year from 8 to 12 September. The theme week reminds us to keep our senses alert when out on the roads. So pay attention to your surroundings, whether you are walking, cycling or driving!

The Hobby Fair is coming again in August – registration to present your hobby activities is open until 8 August.
The Hobby Fair will be held in August in Hyrylä, Jokela and Kellokoski. The fair is a great place for children, young people and families to learn about the diverse hobby opportunities and hobby providers in the surrounding area. We are now looking for hobby activity presenters – sign up by 8 August 2025 at the latest.
