Results of the 2025 Move! measurements in Tuusula – increasing physical activity in everyday life promotes well-being 

The autumn results of the Move! measurements carried out as part of physical education in schools are now in. Nationally, the results of pupils in Tuusula are very similar to those elsewhere in Finland. Particular attention should be paid to the decline in physical functioning by focusing on preventive measures that begin in early childhood.

Welcome to Halosenniemi's new website at halosenniemi.fi. The site also showcases Halosenniemi's new visual identity, designed by advertising and marketing agency Creative Crue. Poutapilvi is responsible for the technical platform of the website, and has also revamped other websites for the municipality of Tuusula. The new website ensures that usability and accessibility meet modern-day requirements.

Meals for senior citizens will be suspended during the Christmas break from 20 December to 6 January – in Kellokoski, the break will begin on 19 December.

Schoolchildren are on holiday between Christmas and Epiphany, so meals for senior citizens in Tuusula will also be suspended from 20 December 2025 to 6 January 2026. The last meal of the year will be served at Kellokoski School on Thursday 18 December and at Jokela and Hyrylä secondary schools, Riihikallio School and Monio on Friday 19 December.
