A biography of Konni Zilliacus's life, written by Carl-Magnus Fogelholm, was published in 2025, chronicling the eventful life of his great-grandfather. A presentation of the book "Konni Zilliacus and the Road to Finnish Independence" will be held on Thursday, 5 February at 6 p.m. in the Kirnu meeting room at Kellokoski School. The event will begin with coffee served by the Friends of the Kellokoski Ironworks Museum Association, with a voluntary donation to the ironworks museum. Carl-Magnus Fogelholm's presentation will begin at 6.30 p.m. The event is organised by the Tuusula Museum and admission is free.
Construction work on additional tracks begins between Purola and Nuppulinna
The Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency's Helsinki–Riihimäki railway project will see the construction of additional tracks between Purola and Nuppulinna begin in January 2026. The work is expected to continue until the end of 2028.
