The municipality of Tuusula is currently drawing up a new safety plan for 2025–2029. The aim of the safety plan is to improve the safety of residents by reducing the number of accidents, injuries, crimes and disturbances. The measures outlined in the plan are also intended to maintain the sense of security among residents and visitors.
Wellbeing through nutrition – Strength from food theme week 3–9 February 2025 invites older people to enjoy a varied diet
At the beginning of February, we celebrate Power from Food Week, which focuses on the quality of older people's diets and adequate protein intake. The theme week is part of Gery ry's Voimaa ruuasta (Power from Food) initiative, which aims to promote good nutrition, functional capacity and well-being among older people in many ways. The topic is on the agenda in Tuusula in relation to meals for older people.
Temporary change to meal times for elderly people from 27 January to 6 February 2025 in Monio
Since the beginning of the year, meals for senior citizens have also been organised at the upper secondary school and cultural centre Monio. Exceptionally, meals will be served at Monio between 27 January and 6 February 2025 from 1 p.m. to 1.20 p.m.

Tuusula's promoters of wellbeing for the year are Uudenmaan Shotokan Karate-Do, Virkistys ja taito ry VIRTA and KPK – Kaikki polttaa kaikkia (Riihikallion Koulun Tuki ry).
