Focus Business Park – Featured at MIPIM 2026, Cannes
The Focus area in Tuusula, i.e. Focus Business Park, will participate in the international MIPIM 2026 real estate event in Cannes on 10–11 March. The event will showcase the strengths of the Focus area: its exceptional logistical location, sustainable development planning and smooth cooperation with the municipality and business partners.
Clean savings with solar energy
For most of us, sunshine brings to mind pleasant things: light, warmth and a feeling of well-being. In Tuusula, the sun also benefits the municipality's finances and helps to produce clean energy. Many of the municipality's properties have solar panels that generate electricity for heating and lighting, among other things.
Tuusula to be the main organiser of Central Uusimaa Pride in 2026 – Pride Week will be celebrated from 24 to 28 August
Keski-Uusimaa Pride invites you to celebrate diversity and equality from 24 to 29 August. The main celebration will be held at the Monio Cultural Centre.
The doors open again at Jokela station
The Jokela station building, which has been closed to the public for some time, is reopening its doors – though not as a traditional railway station. The municipality has leased the building for use as a café-restaurant, and the new entrepreneurs will keep it open most days from early morning until evening.

Employment vouchers facilitate the employment of young people
In the Central Uusimaa employment area, companies can utilise youth employment vouchers, which support the employment of unemployed young people aged 18–29. The vouchers reduce the costs of employment for a fixed period.
Tuusula prepares to host Taitaja2026 – young people's skills on display at Tuusula Sports Centre in May
In May 2026, Tuusula will be the stage for Finland's biggest vocational education event when the Taitaja2026 competitions bring hundreds of young professionals, teachers and partners from all over Finland to the Tuusula Sports Centre. Janne Mellin, Mayor of Tuusula, is one of this year's Taitaja ambassadors.
Tuusula sells Purola Youth Centre and Linjamäki School at auction
The municipality of Tuusula is auctioning off two properties: the Purola youth centre on Jokelantie and the disused Linjamäki school in Nuppulinna. An open bidding process for both properties will be held on the Huutokaupat.com website from 2 March to 20 April 2026.
Regular slots for municipal facilities available for the 2026–2027 season
Tuusula offers a wide range of leisure, meeting and event facilities for clubs, associations, residents, communities and businesses. You can now apply for regular slots for the next academic year at schools, upper secondary schools, leisure services and Jokela-talo.
Digiraati invites young people to further develop their ideas – participate online from 12 to 15 March
The February-March series of workshops for children and young people will continue with Digiraadi, where young people can go online to develop ideas for voting proposals.
