This year, Central Uusimaa Pride will be celebrated in Järvenpää!
Central Uusimaa Pride is a joint celebration organised by the municipalities of Tuusula, Kerava, Hyvinkää, Järvenpää and Nurmijärvi, which take turns hosting the event. This year, the event returns to its roots with the city of Järvenpää as the lead organiser.
Kellokoski pulsates with community spirit – Ruukki Triathlon returns stronger than ever
The popular triathlon event will be held in Kellokoski on Sunday, 1 June, when Järvenpään Pyöräilijät (Järvenpää Cyclists) brings the Ruukki Triathlon to the beautiful countryside for the second time. Last year, the competition was the only sold-out triathlon event in Finland, and it received a lot of praise from participants and the Triathlon Federation. This year, more than 200 competitors from all over the country will take part, and the event also carries an environmentally responsible competition certificate.
Tuusula Art Programme Spring Festival on 17 May showcases contemporary artists
The Tuusula Art Programme Spring Festival puts the spotlight on contemporary artists from Tuusula and offers the public a unique opportunity to get to know their work. The 2025 festival will focus on the artists of the Rykmentinpuisto School, which will open in the autumn.

Award-winning artist to perform at the Night of the Arts pre-concert

The free Cake Festival event for the whole family will be held for the first time on the eve of Mother's Day, Saturday 10 May 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Monio.
Spring Carnival for the whole family on Saturday, 3 May 2025
Tuusula Sports Centre, also known as Urka, will once again celebrate spring together on Saturday, 3 May 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., when the municipality of Tuusula will organise its traditional Spring Carnival for the whole family.
The Tuusulanjärvi Marathon will be held on 26 April.
The Tuusulanjärvi Marathon, which has been held since 1994, will once again take place on Saturday, 26 April 2025, in the scenic surroundings of Lake Tuusulanjärvi. Other running distances are also available, and you can still register on site.
