Come along to the Jokela residents' evening on 29 January 2026 at 6 p.m. at the Jokela school centre. Let's work together to make Jokela a pleasant and functional place to grow, live and work! 

Theatre-themed lectures and courses invite you to Monio. In March and April, Arttu Kapulainen will lead a course on the basics of theatrical expression, and Johanna Kultala will lead a beginner's course on puppet and object theatre for adults. On Tuesday 20 January from 6 to 8.30 p.m., you can learn more about the subject in a free public lecture entitled The Many Faces of Theatre. The eagerly awaited school Christmas holidays are almost here. Take a look at our tips for enjoying them! 

Students from Tusby träsk svenska skolan and Riihikallio School will perform traditional Lucia pageants on Friday, 12 December, at Tuusula Church, the main library and Monio. Come and watch the processions!

In Tuusula, you can get into the Christmas spirit at various events. There are concerts, fairs, craft evenings, workshops and much more on offer.

Tuusula's cultural spring offers experiences with music, stories and magic. Tickets for the beloved Minä elän! clubs and Kulttuuritalo Monio's spring events are now on sale.

Pupils from Rykmentinpuisto School will ask questions from children and young people in Tuusula about municipal governance and other topics of concern during the mayor's question time on Wednesday 19 November from 9.15 to 10.15 a.m. The event is part of Tuusula Children's Rights Week. Those interested can follow the question time via livestream.

Children's Rights Week will be celebrated this autumn from 17 to 23 November. The theme of the week, 'Children have the right to be heard', reminds us of the right of children and young people to belong to a community and to be seen and heard. The theme will be highlighted throughout the week in daycare centres, schools and leisure activities. Let's give children and young people a voice!

The free performances include theatre, dance, music, magic and even opera for children. The 23 performances during the week will reach a total of 1,700 children. Most of the week's performances are sold out, but there are still some seats available for a few performances.
