Central Uusimaa Pride was celebrated in several municipalities
Last week, Central Uusimaa Pride invited people in the region to celebrate equality and diversity.
The historic Kellokoski ironworks and hospital area served as a meeting place for construction professionals.
The Construction Industry Day, linked to the Tarinoiden Talot (Houses of Stories) event, brought together professionals in the field on Friday, 22 August 2025, to Kellokoski to hear about current issues in the municipality of Tuusula and get a preview of a few things.The event was organised by the Tuusula Construction Association, and the programme included a tour of the event venue, which will be open to the public on Saturday, 23 August 2025.

The Houses of Stories event will be held for the third time in August 2025. This time, the venue will be the charming Kellokoski, known for its ironworks, mental hospital and its delightful residents and scenery. The venues will be open to the public on Saturday, 23 August 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come and get to know these charming houses and their residents!

Tuusula Arts Night brings cultural joy to an August evening
Tuusula Arts Night will be held on Friday, 8 August, offering a diverse range of cultural experiences for all ages! Arts Night is one of the most anticipated events of the year in Tuusula, bringing together art lovers and offering an opportunity to experience culture in many forms. As usual, the event will take place in different parts of the municipality.
Ruukki is Culture-Friendly Company of the Year 2025
The Tuusula Municipality Culture and Leisure Committee presented the Culture-Friendly 2025 Award on Tuusula Day, 22 July 2025. The award was given to Kellokosken Ruukki Ry, which has revitalised Tuusula.
Tuusula Week will be celebrated from 21 to 27 July.
Tuusula Week, 21–27 July 2025, will be a week of culture and events in many forms. The event week will feature concerts, summer theatre, circus, museum visits, guided tours, family days, socialising and experiences.
The Hobby Fair is coming again in August – registration to present your hobby activities is open until 8 August.
The Hobby Fair will be held in August in Hyrylä, Jokela and Kellokoski. The fair is a great place for children, young people and families to learn about the diverse hobby opportunities and hobby providers in the surrounding area. We are now looking for hobby activity presenters – sign up by 8 August 2025 at the latest.
