At the beginning of 2026, the official duties of the ELY Centres were transferred to ten regional vitality centres, the national Licensing and Supervisory Authority, and the Transport and Communications Agency Traficom. The ELY Centres ceased operations on 31 December 2025.

Theatre-themed lectures and courses invite you to Monio. The municipality of Tuusula sought a welfare director between 24 November 2025 and 5 January 2026. Ninety-eight people interested in the position submitted applications.

Plots in the new residential area of Kellokoski Joenranta will be available for purchase from 5 January to 8 February 2026. As a rule, we sell the plots, but leasing is also possible.

The poems of Eino Leino (1878–1926) have touched almost every Finn in some way. The 100th anniversary of the master poet's death will be on 10 January 2026. Leino passed away on 10 January 1926 at his friends' house, Nuppulinna, in what is now the Tuusula area.

Applications for detached house plots on the riverbank can be submitted between 5 January 2026 and 8 February 2026.
