Tuusula Week will be celebrated from 21 to 27 July.
Tuusula Week, 21–27 July 2025, will be a week of culture and events in many forms. The event week will feature concerts, summer theatre, circus, museum visits, guided tours, family days, socialising and experiences.
Come to the Museum weeks open doors to local history 21 July–3 August
Tuusula is full of fascinating museums. During the seventh annual Tuu museoon (Come to the Museum) weeks, specialised museums located throughout the municipality offer a wide range of exhibitions on industrial and local history.

The water at Kellokoski beach once again meets quality requirements
A repeat sample taken from the Kellokoski swimming beach on 8 July 2025 did not reveal any levels of enterobacteria exceeding the action limit, and the water quality met the requirements set for bathing water. Swimming is once again permitted at the Kellokoski swimming beach.
The Hobby Fair is coming again in August – registration to present your hobby activities is open until 8 August.
The Hobby Fair will be held in August in Hyrylä, Jokela and Kellokoski. The fair is a great place for children, young people and families to learn about the diverse hobby opportunities and hobby providers in the surrounding area. We are now looking for hobby activity presenters – sign up by 8 August 2025 at the latest.
Central Uusimaa Rescue Department advises: Check the fire safety of your holiday home – self-assessment is underway
The Central Uusimaa Rescue Department has launched a self-assessment programme for fire safety in holiday homes, some of which are located in the Tuusula area. The aim of the self-assessment is to help holiday home owners identify and prevent fire safety risks, particularly in remote areas where it may take time for help to arrive.
Update to news item: Traffic disruption in the Tuomala and Ketunkorpi areas from 8 to 10 July.
Ainolanväylä in Järvenpää will be closed to motor vehicle traffic from the railway bridge from Tuesday 8 July at 5 a.m. until Thursday 10 July at 4 p.m. The closure will also affect traffic between the Tuomala and Ketunkorpi areas of Tuusula and Järvenpää.

The final evaluation report for the 2021–2025 council term has been published
The Tuusula Municipal Audit Committee 2021–2025 has prepared an assessment report on the municipality's operations and finances for 2024. The report was submitted to the new council for information as part of the financial statements at the council meeting on 16 June 2025.
