A repeat sample taken from Kellokoski beach on 22 July 2025 no longer showed high bacterial concentrations. The water at the beach meets microbiological quality requirements, so the swimming ban can be lifted.

Maintenance work will be carried out at the Koskenmäki carpet washing facility in Hyrylä on Wednesday, 30 July 2025, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The water supply to the washing facility will be shut off during the work.

Bacterial levels in the water at Kellokoski beach are high. A swimming ban was reimposed on the beach on 17 July 2025. New samples will be taken from the beach this week. The swimming ban will be lifted once bacterial levels have fallen.

A sample taken from Kellokoski beach on 16 July 2025 has been found to contain intestinal bacteria exceeding the action limit. For this reason, swimming was prohibited today, 17 July 2025, at Kellokoski beach.

Noisy work related to the Helsinki–Riihimäki railway line development project will be carried out in the Kytömaa area between 26 July and 10 August. Some of the work will also be carried out at night.
