Issue 1/2025 of the Tuusula municipal newsletter will be published on Wednesday, 2 April 2025, and will be distributed to households in Tuusula as a public bulletin.

The Employment Area is suspending the granting of financial assistance because the available funds have already been allocated.

The municipality of Tuusula is renovating the premises of the Pellava daycare centre. During the renovation, operations will be moved to temporary premises. For early childhood education, the nearby Mikkola school has been confirmed as the temporary premises, and pre-school education will be moved to the premises of the Riihikallio school. Open early childhood education, Pikku Pellava, will remain in its current premises.

The actual voting day for municipal and regional elections is 13 April 2025. Advance voting is possible from 2 to 8 April 2025 at four advance polling stations in Tuusula.

Erkkola is hosting an exhibition entitled "Beyond Reality – Imaginary Worlds in Fairy Tale Illustrations" throughout the spring, featuring works by Rudolf Koivu, Martta Wendelin and Venny Soldan-Brofeldt, among others, which transport viewers far beyond the boundaries of everyday life. The museum is organising several fairy tale-themed events related to the exhibition.

The Tuusula Municipal Council will discuss the 2024 financial statements at its meeting today, Monday 24 March. The matter will be brought before the municipal council in April. The municipality of Tuusula had a deficit of EUR 0.5 million (the basic municipality had a deficit of EUR 1.4 million and the water utility had a surplus of EUR 0.9 million). Tuusula ranks first in Finland in terms of vitality among municipalities of its size.
