Tuusula prepares to host Taitaja2026 – young people's skills on display at Tuusula Sports Centre in May
In May 2026, Tuusula will be the stage for Finland's biggest vocational education event when the Taitaja2026 competitions bring hundreds of young professionals, teachers and partners from all over Finland to the Tuusula Sports Centre. Janne Mellin, Mayor of Tuusula, is one of this year's Taitaja ambassadors.

A low threshold for becoming a theatre maker and participant in Monio
Theatre-themed lectures and courses invite you to Monio. In March and April, Arttu Kapulainen will lead a course on the basics of theatrical expression, and Johanna Kultala will lead a beginner's course on puppet and object theatre for adults. On Tuesday 20 January from 6 to 8.30 p.m., you can learn more about the subject in a free public lecture entitled The Many Faces of Theatre.
