The popular Ruukki Triathlon is taking place once again
The popular triathlon event will take place in Kellokoski on Sunday 31 May, when Järvenpään Pyöräilijät bring the Ruukki Triathlon to the village’s beautiful surroundings for the third time.

The voting period for the participatory budgeting scheme for children and young people is still open until 9 pm on Wednesday 20 May. The results will be announced at 1 pm on Friday 22 May during a live broadcast.

The danger has passed – services will return to normal with a slight delay
The danger has now passed. The unmanned aircraft no longer poses a threat and the situation is over, according to the Ministry of the Interior’s emergency services.
Summer picnics in the park are being organised once again
In the summer of 2026, Tuusula will be organising free meals in the park for children and young people under the age of 18 living in Tuusula, at all municipal centres. The meals will start on Monday 1 June. There will also be some fun supporting activities.
The Kellokoski Ironworks area will be filled with music, workshops and a summer atmosphere on Tuusula Day in July
Tuusula Day will be celebrated at Kellokoski Ironworks as part of Tuusula Week on Wednesday 22 July from 2 pm. The event will bring music, theatre and workshops for the whole family to the area.
