The municipality of Tuusula has set out its policy on how it will organise its services in the event of any incidents caused by drones.

There are changes to the opening hours of the Tuusula Museum during Midsummer.

This autumn will offer both familiar and new opportunities for extracurricular activities to complement the school day. You can also find out more about the range of activities on offer at Tuusula’s third extracurricular activities fair on 25 August at Riihikallio School.

On 4 June 2026, the Central Uusimaa Environment Centre took the first water quality samples of the summer from the beaches in Järvenpää, Mäntsälä, Nurmijärvi and Tuusula in accordance with the monitoring plan. The samples were tested for Escherichia coli and faecal enterococci. The microbiological quality of the swimming water met the quality requirements set for bathing water.

Tua Holappa, Tuusula’s summer artist, invites local residents to take part in interviews and workshops where they will build scale models of spaces that hold personal significance for them.

Tuusula Municipal Council will meet on Monday 8 June at 6 pm at Monio (Pataljoonantie 6, 04300 Tuusula). The meeting can also be followed online.

Training exercises are taking place in the Seepsula area. The exercises will cause noise.

The Tuusula-wide Leisure Fair will be held at Riihikallio School on 25 August 2026 from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm. Sign up to be a exhibitor by 9 August 2026!

The use of the outdoor areas will have to be restricted, as early years education in South Tuusula is concentrated at the Tuusulanjärvi nursery during the summer and the building’s outdoor area is required for these activities.
