Track works at Jokela station in August

The development project for the railway line between Helsinki and Riihimäki will result in changes to the tracks used by trains in Jokela. Track 1 will be back in use on 10 August, whilst Track 3 will be taken out of service until further notice due to track works.

A new outdoor sports facility at the sports centre 

Exercise

A new open-air, accessible local sports facility is due to be completed at the Tuusula Sports Centre later this year. The outdoor sports facility, which is being built in front of the Tekova Arena multi-purpose hall, will include a street basketball court, an outdoor gym and a sports track, amongst other things.

Municipal employment subsidy to support residents of Tuusula 

Jobs

Tuusula has started to pay a municipal allowance to support employment from the beginning of June. The allowance, which is paid monthly, is available to employers who take on a jobseeker from Tuusula. The municipal subsidy amounts to €800 per month for full-time employment and €500 per month for part-time employment. The employment relationship must meet the employment condition, and the subsidy is paid for a maximum of one year.
