The Omenalahdenpolku footbridge in Kellokoski will be closed this summer due to repair work.

The building control HVAC inspector will be absent from duty for an extended period. Consequently, the following procedure will be implemented for building services inspections from 1 May 2026.

From autumn 2026, Tuusula Municipality will levy a stormwater charge on properties located within the area covered by the local plan.

Tuusula Municipality is inviting residents to help search for and control Indian Balsam and Lupin. The work involves photographing the plants before and after control measures have been taken, and participants will receive a reward for their efforts. The project, which launches in early June, utilises crowdsourcing and the Finnish Crowdsorsa mobile gaming platform. 

Tuusula Municipal Council will meet on Monday 11 May 2026 at 6 pm at Monio (Pataljoonantie 6, 04300 Tuusula). The meeting can also be followed online.

Training activities take place in the Huissanmäki, Reuna and Sikokallio areas.

In the summer of 2026, we will be offering swimming lessons for children at the refurbished Tuusula Swimming Pool, spread over three sessions. A new addition this year is a swimming course for teenagers. We will also be organising a beginners’ swimming course for adults in August.

Three of the applicants for the post of Director of the Central Uusimaa Environment Centre have been shortlisted for an aptitude assessment and a further interview.

Tuusula Municipal Council approved the Tuusula Biodiversity Programme (LUMO Programme) at its meeting on 30 March. The programme came into force on 1 April, and its implementation has begun immediately as part of the roll-out of Tuusula’s Municipal Strategy 2026–2029.
