Tuusula’s LUMO programme supports the municipality’s work to promote biodiversity
Tuusula Municipal Council approved the Tuusula Biodiversity Programme (LUMO Programme) at its meeting on 30 March. The programme came into force on 1 April, and its implementation has begun immediately as part of the roll-out of Tuusula’s Municipal Strategy 2026–2029.
Flexibility and accessibility at the heart of the design – community spaces for the future social and health centre in Hyrylä
The premises of Tuusula Municipality to be incorporated into the Hyrylä social and health services centre have been designed in close collaboration with the future users throughout the project. The latest design workshop was held on 22 April.

Kellokoski Hospital Museum, Summer 2026: Against Stigmatisation!
The 10th-anniversary exhibition #Stigmattomuus by the Moniääniset taiteilijat collective is the Kellokoski Hospital Museum’s summer art exhibition. They hear voices. Stigma refers to the negative reputation attached to and experienced by a group of people. From unashamed art activism now rises a revolutionary declaration: stigmattomuus! The Hospital Museum’s summer season begins on 16 May and the exhibition opens on 13 June.

The participatory budgeting process for children and young people in Tuusula has reached its climax with the voting phase, which began today, 6 May. Over the next two weeks, children and young people will be able to cast their votes in early years education settings, schools and open voting workshops. The eagerly awaited voting results will be announced on 22 May at 13:00 during a live broadcast.
