The swimming pool’s opening hours have been extended
The Tuusula swimming pool will return to its normal opening hours on Monday 3 August. The pool has been open throughout the summer this year, which is unusual, but its opening hours have been more limited than usual.
The autumn season of living room activities for older people begins on 27 July

The best events of the summer during Tuusula Week, 20–26 July
Tuusula Week brings a wealth of activities for all ages in July. The programme includes culture, sport, music, exhibitions, markets and community events across the municipality.
Construction of the Ainola station underpass is set to begin
Construction work on the underpass and the surrounding streets will continue until the end of August 2027. Please be aware of the construction work when travelling in the area, whether for work or leisure.
Fun activities for everyone, from babies to grandparents, at the family day
The Youth Services’ family days – which evoke a sense of nostalgia and bring generations together – are returning on 20–22 July to Jokela, Kellokoski and Riihikallio.
‘Come to the Museum’ Weeks open the doors to local history
Tuusula is full of fascinating museums. During the eighth edition of the ‘Tuu museoon’ weeks, running from 21 July to 2 August, specialist museums located across the municipality will be showcasing industrial and local history through a diverse range of exhibitions.
Track works at Jokela station in August
The development project for the railway line between Helsinki and Riihimäki will result in changes to the tracks used by trains in Jokela. Track 1 will be back in use on 10 August, whilst Track 3 will be taken out of service until further notice due to track works.
A new outdoor sports facility at the sports centre
A new open-air, accessible local sports facility is due to be completed at the Tuusula Sports Centre later this year. The outdoor sports facility, which is being built in front of the Tekova Arena multi-purpose hall, will include a street basketball court, an outdoor gym and a sports track, amongst other things.
Public presentation of the planned data centre in Jokela on 5 August
Jokelan Vihreä Maa Oy is planning a data centre project in Jokela, Tuusula, along Vallunlenkki. A presentation of the project and the assessment report will be held on Wednesday 5 August 2026 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Jokela-talo.
The swimming pool has switched to its summer opening hours
Tuusula Swimming Pool will be open throughout the summer this year. Today, the pool switched to its summer opening hours. From 29 June to 2 August, the pool will be open daily from 11.00 to 18.00.
