The competitive negotiation process for the next target of the Tuusula service network reform, the Lahela school, daycare centre and youth centre, began on 22 August 2025. Negotiations will be held with three candidates.

The work is related to the development project for the railway section between Helsinki and Riihimäki, which is currently in its second phase.

The municipal council convened on Monday, 1 September 2025.

The Guard Jaeger Regiment will lead the Lively Stronghold 25 local defence exercise in the capital region from 31 August to 5 September 2025. Exercises are also planned in the Hyrylä area of Tuusula from 31 August to 1 September 2025 and on 3 September 2025.
