A repeat sample taken from the Kellokoski swimming beach on 8 July 2025 did not reveal any levels of enterobacteria exceeding the action limit, and the water quality met the requirements set for bathing water. Swimming is once again permitted at the Kellokoski swimming beach.

The Hobby Fair will be held in August in Hyrylä, Jokela and Kellokoski. The fair is a great place for children, young people and families to learn about the diverse hobby opportunities and hobby providers in the surrounding area. The Central Uusimaa Rescue Department has launched a self-assessment programme for fire safety in holiday homes, some of which are located in the Tuusula area.
