Tuusulanjärvi was restored again this year through management fishing. During October, an average of nearly 700 kilograms of fish was caught in a single haul. The catch was distributed to those interested on the shore, and demand was high.

The municipality of Tuusula supports the activities of local non-profit associations by providing two types of grants: a grant for the rental of association premises and a grant for the payment of property tax on association premises.
