Access to the main library courtyard by car will change
Due to progress on the construction site, access from Autoasemankatu to the main library courtyard will change on Tuesday, 28 October. The current route to the courtyard will be closed, and the new route will run from the bend in Autoasemankatu.
Our forests – Information, plans and dialogue about the forests of Tuusula municipality – residents' meeting on 5 November 2025
A public meeting on the management of Tuusula's forests will be held at Rykmentin Talo on 5 November 2025 from 5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. The meeting will provide information on the preparation of a new park forest plan and discuss the management of Tuusula's forests.
Noise from Defence Forces training on 29 October in the Pirunkorpi area
The Uusimaa Jaeger Battalion of the Guard Jaeger Regiment will be conducting training exercises in Tuusula from 28 to 30 October. The training will cause noise in the Pirunkorpi area on Wednesday, 29 October.
Tuusula's draft development plan for green and outdoor sports services, VIPU, South Tuusula and Kellokoski on display
The draft development plan for Tuusula's green and outdoor sports services will be on display from 23 October to 21 November 2025 at the TuusInfo customer service office during its opening hours. The draft can also be viewed at the Kellokoski library and on the municipality's map service.
Building Regulations 2025 come into force
On 6 October 2025, the Tuusula Municipal Council approved new building regulations in accordance with the Building Act.

The draft street plan for the Seppäinpuisto town plan area will be on display from 23 October to 5 November 2025 at the TuusInfo customer service premises during opening hours and at the Kellokoski library. The proposal can also be viewed on the municipality's map service.

The municipality of Tuusula is inviting tenders for kiosk locations intended for ice cream sales or other café kiosk operations for the summer seasons of 2026 and 2027. Bids may be submitted until 12 noon on 18 November 2025.

We are looking for the most child-friendly act in Tuusula for the second time. We are looking for an individual who has taken the rights of children and young people to be heard into particular consideration. Being heard has two meanings – both belonging to a community and being listened to. Nominate an act and its creator by 7 November 2025!
Tuusula Education Services Academic Year Assessment 2024–2025: Focus on well-being and a sustainable future
During the 2024–2025 school year, pupils and students in Tuusula learned about the basics of well-being and had many empowering encounters. Reflection on a sustainable future was a key part of Tuusula's educational activities. The implementation of the previous school year in pre-primary and basic education, after-school activities and upper secondary education has now been assessed in the school year evaluations discussed in the autumn.
Rudolf Koivu 2025 Award Nominees in Erkkola
The Rudolf Koivu Award is presented every two years for the best illustrations in a children's or young adult book. Ten children's and young adult books, whose illustrations have been selected by the jury as nominees for the 2025 award, are on display at Erkkola until 14 December.
