Independence Day rings out with jazz music in Tuusula
Tuusula will celebrate Finland's independence with swinging music on Saturday, 6 December, when renowned jazz pianist Joonas Haavisto arrives to perform his solo concert at Kulttuuritalo Monio. The concert is free of charge, but advance registration is required. Registration opens on 15 October at 10 a.m.
Tuusula develops swimming areas with residents' views in mind
The municipality of Tuusula aims to maintain and renovate swimming areas so that they are, above all, safe. It also wants to further improve their appeal by listening to the views of the municipality's residents.
Strong business cluster in the Rykmentinportti employment area
The Rykmentinportti area, located next to the Tuusula motorway, is rapidly developing into a bustling hub for leading companies. Last week, the area celebrated the laying of the foundation stone for the new premises of DEXIS, a manufacturer of dental imaging equipment.

Emotional and interpersonal skills are among the most important skills for educators. Tuusula's expertise in emotional skills has been exported abroad. Recognising their own emotions gives children and young people the tools to deal with even difficult issues safely with the support of adults.

Renovation of the swimming pool is progressing
The renovation has been delayed by approximately eight weeks from the original schedule, and the work is estimated to be completed by the end of April 2026. Commissioning measures will be carried out in May, and customers will be welcome to visit the hall in June 2026.
Tuusula Council seminar: Council began discussing the budget
The Tuusula Council convened for a two-day council seminar in Tuusula on 2–3 October 2025. One of the objectives of the seminar was to familiarise participants with the mayor's budget proposal, which was published on 1 October.
The views of associations are needed in organisational planning – Respond to the survey by 10 October at the latest.
Tuusula wants to be Finland's most organisation-friendly municipality in the future, and the organisation plan paves the way towards this goal.
