The national annual Cycling Week is currently underway. The purpose of the theme week is, among other things, to encourage cycling and raise awareness of its benefits. This year's main theme is Cycling is for everyone: everyone should feel welcome and safe in traffic. Get inspired by the week and enjoy cycling!

Dress up as your favourite character at the museum – A magical day in Erkkola on 17 May.

Erkkola is hosting a "Dress up as your favourite character at the museum – Fairytale Day" event on Saturday 17 May from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The whole family is welcome to come dressed as their favourite character. During the day, the museum will offer fairy tale tours, and you can make your own magic wand in a workshop or try your hand at paper theatre. Delicacies from Leipovien leidit will be on sale in the courtyard.

The artist's pain and the helping shop – Kellokoski Hospital Museum opens on Saturday 17 May.

Come and raise a glass with us to celebrate spring and life! The Kellokoski Hospital Museum and its gallery Alitajuntaan will open the art exhibition "I have given birth to life and thought about death" on Saturday 17 May at 11 a.m. Toasts and the artist's reception will take place at 1.30 p.m., followed by an hour-long art-themed walking tour of the hospital grounds at 2 p.m.: a contemporary dance performance, Prinsessan kieltolakilaulu (The Princess's Prohibition Song), a rare piece by Venny Soldan-Brofeldt, psychedelic murals in the art stairwell, and the symbolism of Rauni Liukko's Prinsessa monument. We will be surrounded by the hospital's well-tended parks and magnificent architecture.
