In December 2024, the municipality of Tuusula organised its third Christmas receipt competition in collaboration with local business associations. The competition encouraged people to buy products and services in Tuusula. The winners of the competition have now been drawn.

The proposal “Soljuen elävä virta” (The Living Stream of Solju) won the landscape architecture competition for public areas in the centre of Hyrylä.
In selecting the winner, particular emphasis was placed on the main idea behind the proposal and the overall landscape architecture. In addition, the proposal's development potential and its integration with the existing environment and future construction projects were evaluated.

Tuusula Museum and Culture attracted over 82,000 visitors in 2024
The past year was a busy one for Tuusula's cultural services. Tuusula Museum attracted over 62,000 visitors, and cultural events drew more than 20,000 visitors. A significant proportion of the children and young people who encountered the museum and culture were reached through cultural education programmes. For the first time, a secondary-level cultural education plan was implemented for young people in Tuusula.
