Renovation of the swimming pool will begin in April
The renovation of the Tuusula swimming pool will begin in April 2025. The renovation will continue until March 2026. With the renovation of the swimming pool, the municipality of Tuusula aims to repair all structural damage and prevent new damage from occurring. We will not be expanding the swimming pool for the time being, but will instead renovate the existing facilities and improve their usability.
Tuusula municipal grants available – grant clinics to support applicants
The application period for Tuusula Municipality's 2025 operating grants and cultural and sports sponsorship is currently underway. The application period ends on 31 January 2025. To support the application process, we are organising grant clinics in Hyrylä, Kellokoski and Jokela during January. In addition to the general principles of the grants, we will be emphasising slightly different perspectives at each clinic.

What kinds of beers were brewed in monasteries? In a lecture by researcher Marja Tanhuanpää at the Erkkola Artists' Home on Thursday 30 January at 6 p.m., we will hear about beer as liquid bread, protected Trappist beers and Martin Luther's fondness for beer and his favourite beer. In the words of Martin Luther, "It is better to sit in a beer hall and think about the church than to sit in a church and think about beer."
