Keusote’s assistive technology service point in Tuusula is to close

Keusote has announced that it is centralising its network of assistive technology service centres. As part of this centralisation, the loan of assistive devices will cease at the Tuusula service point. From next Monday, 31 August 2026, Keusote’s assistive device service points will be located at three sites: Hyvinkää Hospital and the social and health centres in Järvenpää and Nurmijärvi.

Municipal services during a drone hazard alert

The municipality of Tuusula has set out how it will organise its services during any hazardous situations caused by drones from August 2026 onwards. As a general rule, the municipality will act in accordance with hazard warnings and guidance issued by the authorities. Operations will continue as normally as possible, whilst taking safety into account.

The Särmä Business and Service Centre is complete – services will open during the autumn 

The Tuusula Town Hall is located in Särmä, which has been built in Hyrylä; the building will also house retail outlets and other services. Urban Partners, which was responsible for the development and construction of the project, has handed over the premises to Tuusula Municipality and to the commercial operators who will be based in the centre, who are responsible for the finishing works and commissioning of the premises. Jatke Toimitilat acted as the project contractor.

Fjällbo Park wins the Green Flag Award once again

Fjällbo Park, located in Tuusula, has once again been awarded the Green Flag Award, which recognises the high quality of green spaces. The Green Flag Award is an international scheme for assessing green spaces, administered in Finland by the Finnish Green Environment Association.

Gasgrid announces: Work on the natural gas pipeline relocation project in the Rykmentinpuisto area of Tuusula is due to be completed in August

We are carrying out modification work on a natural gas transmission pipeline in the Rykmentinpuisto area of Tuusula, due to the Tuusula municipal road project and changes in land-use requirements. The route will be altered over a distance of approximately 650 metres. The draining of the natural gas pipeline as part of the works will cause temporary noise on 19 August 2026.
